The Daystate Type 2 ICON is a premium electric compressor which incorporates a more powerful air pump than its predecessor, with an increased sump capacity and a more sophisticated air filtration system. Developed by Daystate from the larger units sold around the world designed for filling large scuba tanks, the ICON can fill a 10-litre tank to 300BAR from empty in 20 minutes and will top it up from 150 Bar in less than 10 minutes. Portable, self-contained and robust, it is fitted with a large/easy-to-read pressure gauge that can be specifically set to automatically cut the charging process off when the required pressure has been reached. Additional new features include a run-time counter to assist with servicing schedules.
